You are here because you've finally come to the realization that you can only achieve true financial freedom and job security when you create your own job -- start up a small business.
All of our lives we're taught to go to school, learn plenty of useless information, and then go to work for a corporation or company.
Do you know why? Because somebody's got to do the dirty work. Sad but true.
The people who continue to push the traditional "go to school then go to work" approach to life are either:
1) Worker bees (employees) who are so caught up in the Just Over Broke mentality that they have bought into this ideology hook, line and sinker. They pass this mentality on to you in your youth as if it is some type of legacy (work a job that you can't stand forever?) This could be anyone from your parent to your teacher to your big brother.
The other group of people who teach you this life approach are:
2) Business owners who need underpaid worker bees in order to stay in business.
Well it's time to break loose from this thought-process regarding work and making money. It's time to learn how to start up your own small business for profit.
You don't have to quit your job just yet, but you simply can't ignore your calling in life. You could be making money on the side with your small business to put toward your retirement. Who said that a 401K is the only way to save up for your future? Your boss? Some rich financial guru on television (who by the way, happens to have her own business)?
Why can't you use what you learned in school to start your own company? Why don't they teach you straight out of high school that you should identify your talents and then use your training to turn it into a money-making business idea?
Well you're here on the internet, researching small business topics, so half of the struggle is over because you are now in the right place mentally.
But now comes the other part of the task ahead -- how do you go about actually starting your own small business? What is the process?
That is why I've started this informational website. I want to:
1) Enrich you with encouraging information to help you stay
positive about your new business idea,
2) Give you cold hard facts about the realities of starting a new small business,
3) Tell you my own small business stories (I have many),
4) Keep you updated about the various products and services that are crucial for any new small business. I used most if not all of the various products and services to start my own small businesses -- you can rest assured that I will not suggest a product or service to you unless it has an awesome reputation and can truly help you succeed.
